We welcome and accommodate children with special developmental disability, behavioral issue or a physical limitation. Dr. Sharif and her staff have special training in children who may require extra time and care for their dental visits. Our office is handicap accessible and our staff is experienced in the care and support of children with special needs. To meet your child’s unique needs, please talk to our staff about different options such as a pre-appointment visit to see the facility, the doctor and the exam room. This could help your child be more cooperative during the actual dental treatment.

Although we treat children with special medical needs in our office some may require sedation to accomplish their dental work. We are also pleased to recommend and offer hospital dentistry under general anesthesia as out-patient surgery at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital for those who may need it.
